YellowPencil.net
is made available to all educational
institutions and individual educators public or
private as a free service. We provide free home
pages for classroom teachers, specialists,
administrators, or schools. By simply filling
out a form and clicking a button your five page
site can be ready for visitors in just a few
minutes from now.
Our Deluxe
Hosting
Plan
is also available where for less than 4¢
per day web pages that you create can be posted
at yellowpencil.net/yourname. A personal
control panel to manage your pages as well as
password protection and an email address are all
a part of our Deluxe
Plan.
Our goal is to provide a safe place to host your
classroom or school web site.
YellowPencil.net will never allow a pop up
window, banner, or any other form of
advertisement to be associated with your pages.
We were founded in 1999 by a classroom teacher
and school Educational Technoologist as a
not-for-profit free service to fellow educators.
The original vision has grown since that time to
host sites for educators world wide.
How
do I get a page or site on yellowpencil.net?
For
a free site simply use the registration
page
and complete a brief registration form. Our
services are only available to educational
institutions or individual teachers including
home educators. You are asked in the
registration form to include your name, email
address, and your position. The information you
provide will not be shared with any third party
and will only be used to maintain your
account.
For a DELUXE account register through
the
DELUXE account registration
page.
We use PayPal™ for credit card or eCheck
payments. PayPal is the world's largest online
payment service as your transaction is processed
through their secure server. If you would like
to make a donation to help defray some of the
cost we incur in providing YellowPencil.net,
please click on the donation button.
How
do we contact YellowPencil.net?
For
further information about this site, please send
us an eMail. Whether you use our online form to
create your site, or post your pages with an
account through our DELUXE plan, we are ready to
lend a hand. Technical assistance is available
by email. Please note that for your safety
forgotten password information will only be sent
to the original email address used when
registering your account.
